A woman in her 80s has been taken to hospital after her Peugeot crashed into a pond in Hedge End.
Police rushed to Barnfield Way in Hedge End last night after a car came off the road and ended up in a pond off the side of the road.
Residents reported a 'huge' emergency response with a number of police and ambulance vehicles on the scene.
The woman has been taken to hospital with a serious injury.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 8.26pm yesterday, 30 April, to reports of a single vehicle collision on Barnfield Way.
"A red Peugeot left the carriageway and entered a pond.
"The driver, a woman in her 80s, was taken to hospital with a serious injury."
