A woman stabbed at an office in Whiteley is in "stable" condition, police say.
The woman, in her 40s, suffered life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in the abdomen in an attack at the Solent Centre in Parkway, Whiteley, shortly after 9am yesterday.
She was rushed to the hospital, where she remains at this time.
A 37-year-old man from Southsea was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Following the incident, police confirmed that they believed this attack was a targeted incident.

One eyewitness said the office was "like a scene from a crime drama."
This attack sparked shock and concern, with Tory MP Paul Holmes, who represents the Hamble Valley constituency, saying: "This incident is very concerning and alarming.
"My thoughts are with the victim and their family and stand ready to assist should they require it."
Joanne Burton, Fareham Borough Council's executive member for health and public protection, represents part of the Whiteley area and described the incident as "very alarming".
She added: "I'm shocked. First and foremost, my thoughts are with the injured party - I hope they make a quick recovery."
The Daily Echo had been told that two people were seen arguing outside the front of the building prior to the incident, and another eyewitness reported seeing three police cars arriving at the scene and officers tackling a man.
