A cruise ship that has never come to Southampton in her 12 years of sailing the globe is set to arrive in the city this month.
One of Costa Cruises's most popular vessels, the dream-class Costa Diadema is set to arrive on Southampton shores for the first time in the ship’s history.
The Costa Diadema was first launched in 2013 and to date, there is no record of the ship ever coming to the city before now.

This is the case for much of the Costa fleet who are mostly operated from ports closer to the Mediterranean.
The Costa Mediterranea has been known to dock at Southampton in the past, although this only happens on rare occasions.
Those looking to catch a glimpse of the Costa Diadema should be able to see her in all her glory on May 12, between 6am and 6pm.
