A Tesco Express store will temporarily close this month for while refurbishment works take place.
The Tesco Express store on Shamblehurst Lane in Hedge End will close at 6pm on Saturday, May 10, and is expected to be closed for four weeks while improvements are made to the shop.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Tesco said: “Our Hedge End Express store will be temporarily closed from 6pm on Saturday, May 10, while the store is refurbished.

“The store is having a refit to improve the shopping experience for customers which will include upgrading our fridges and making improvements to the inside of the store.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and look forward to welcoming customers back to the refreshed store.”
While the store is closed customers of the Shamblehurst Lane store will instead find their nearest Tesco Express is located Tanhouse Lane.
