A major dual carriageway in Southampton is set to be hit with a large set of road works and drivers are being warned.
The slip road and a lane on the M271 northbound will close for road work being undertaken by National Highways.
The closure is in place from Monday, May 12, until Thursday, May 15.
National Highways has said these works are for survey work to be carried out on the northbound slip road.

Drivers are being warned about the closure as the road is a major route into the city and often becomes congested during rush hour.
These closures have been kept at night time in order to minimise the impact on motorists with the works scheduled for between 8am and 6am.
More work is planned on the M271 later in the month and throughout the summer – most of which will be undertaken during the night.
