A LAST-MINUTE claim has been made for a £321,840.60 EuroMillions prize.

The winning ticket, which matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star number, was bought in Winchester for the EuroMillions draw on November 19, 2024.

The National Lottery operator, Allwyn, revealed the claim was made with less than three weeks left until the prize was due to expire.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, said: "Wow, this winner certainly has kept us on our toes.

"With less than three weeks left until this prize was due to expire, we have finally received a claim for this incredible EuroMillions prize.

"The lucky last-minute ticket-holder, who bought a ticket for the EuroMillions draw way back last year in Winchester, will now be able to celebrate being over £300k richer.

"It certainly raises our pulse rate here at The National Lottery each and every time that we receive a claim from a lucky player who has just found out that they have won a life-changing prize.

"We’ll now support the ticket-holder through the process so they can begin to enjoy their life-changing win as soon as possible."

The claim will now go through a validation process to ensure all game rules, terms, and conditions are adhered to, and the integrity of The National Lottery is protected.

Once validated, the prize will be paid at an appointment with one of Allwyn’s winners’ advisers.

The ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their news.

No information on whether it is an individual or syndicate winner, or where the ticket was purchased, will be disclosed unless the ticket-holder decides to go public.

Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk.

Players can also buy and check tickets in retail.

Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize.

You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner.

Playing any National Lottery game is more than just a chance to win; it's a way to contribute to something much bigger.
