A police helicopter was seen circling over a golf course in Winchester.
Police have now confirmed that this presence on Monday afternoon was part of the search for the missing Winchester man, Martin Hogg, 85, who was found earlier this morning.
He had last been seen around the Chilbolton Avenue area around 11.30am on Monday.
Following this it was reported that there were a number of police officers near Winchester South Golf Club, and a police helicopter was seen over the club at around 6pm.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire Constabulary said: "This activity formed part of enquiries for missing Martin Hogg from Winchester, who has since been located.
"Thank you for sharing our appeals."
