The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

KAYLEIGH LONGMAN, 39, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing products valued at £102.40 from Tesco in West End Road, Southampton, on February 17 2025. Also pleaded guilty to stealing products valued at £113 from Tesco on December 2 2024. Also pleaded guilty to stealing items valued at £88 from Tesco on February 24 2025. Jailed for six weeks.

EHSAN JABERANSARY, 42, of Hulse Road, Southampton, found guilty of keeping an untaxed vehicle. Fined £146 with £50 costs and told to pay excise back duty of £15.84.

NARGIS MOSAKHEL, 25, of Southampton Street, Southampton, pleaded guilty to attempting to steal stock valued at £101.88 from Lidl in Bannister Road, Southampton, on January 18 2025. Also pleaded guilty to assault, stealing goods valued at £50 at Waitrose, and stealing mobile phone. Jailed for 56 days, with court citing defendant's "flagrant disregard" for people and their property.

AMADU FOFANAH, 50, of Hill Lane, Southampton, pleaded guilty to possessing controlled Class A drug in Southampton on October 25 2024. Fined and detained in cells in default of payment. Also told to pay £48 victim services surcharge.

JAMES BEADLE, 46, of Durngate, Winchester, pleaded guilty to breaching criminal behaviour order by visiting shops he was banned from entering. Also pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol valued at £8 from Co-op and wine valued at £6.50 from Tesco. Jailed for four weeks.

GEORGIOS CHARITONIDIS, 36, of Bassett Green Close, Southampton, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified at Kent Street, Southampton, on March 14 2024. Also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance. Also pleaded guilty to possessing controlled Class A drug. Remanded on conditional bail until June 24 2025.

VIJAY SANDHU, 26, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing cheese valued at £103 from Co-op store in Southampton on April 20 2025. Fined £50.
