A 19-year-old has suffered “serious injuries” after an altercation left him hospitalised.
One person has been arrested after Hampshire police attended an incident at Gosport Precinct.
Officers were spotted at Gosport Precinct on Saturday morning, having cordoned off a section of South Street while forensics attended.

Police confirmed to the Echo that they were investigating after a man was “seriously injured” during an altercation on Friday at around 10.15pm.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said that a 19-year-old man has suffered “serious injuries” and is currently in a “stable condition” in hospital receiving treatment.
An 18-year-old man from Gosport has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is currently in police custody.
Part of the road remained closed on Saturday as forensics continued to scour the area directly outside the precinct in a cordon.
