Southampton City Council's councillors are all paid up on their council tax, the authority has confirmed.
The city council has revealed that the Council Tax department last conducted checks on members on February 4 and 25 as part of the budget settings.
At this time, it was confirmed that no members owed any council tax arrears.
The information comes after the Echo submitted a freedom of information request to the authority, asking if any is owed, how much is owed by each person, when the tax arrear dates back to, and the name of the person who is behind of payments.
The council's initial reply confirmed that they had information on councillor's tax payments on record, but the authority refused to reveal if any did or did not owe arrears over privacy fears.

The Echo challenged the decision, requesting an internal review and arguing that the regulator had previously ordered councils to release such information, considering it to be in the public's interest.
A response to the request for an internal review said that Southampton City Council had "historically disclosed the information" in similar FOI requests.
