Several pets in Hampshire are looking for their forever homes, including at the RSPCA Solent branch in The Stubbington Ark.

Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice.

A few animals from The Stubbington Ark are listed below, but more can be found on the centre's website.

To help the RSPCA Solent branch carry on its work, you can donate to their website here.

Sheldon

Gender - Male

Age - Two years old

Breed - Rottweiler

Colour - Black and Tan

If you want to adopt Sheldon you can view their full profile here.

Sheldon is described as a "big playful lump and a joy to be around" who can be a bit worried by strangers and some dogs.

He is said to be a pleasure to work with as he learns very quickly, and he's fully toilet-trained.

Sheldon is quite a large dog, so he would need someone strong enough to hold onto him and who is prepared to make space from people when needed.

The RSPCA adds: "Sheldon has been learning to wear a muzzle and we advise he wears this if he is walking near people he does not know."

He would benefit from a large private garden which he can easily access throughout the day.

Additionally, Sheldon cannot live with children or have any visiting children under the age of 18 at the house.

Hendrix

Gender - Male

Age - Four years old

Breed - Great Dane

Colour - Tan

If you want to adopt Hendrix you can view their full profile here.

Hendrix is a "gentle giant" who has been building his confidence at Stubbington Ark.

He struggles with separation anxiety, so he will need someone around all the time, especially when settling into his new home.

The RSPCA adds: "We do believe he could eventually learn to be left for short periods but this would need to be built up very gradually."

Due to being a Great Dane, Hendrix is a very large dog, so owners may need to be prepared to potentially make adaptations to their house to accommodate him.

He could live with secondary school-age children, but will need to be the only pet in the home.

Carlos and Esteban

Gender - Male

Age - Six months old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair

Colour - Black and Tabby

If you want to adopt Carlos and Esteban you can view their full profile here.

Carlos and Esteban are said to be "a sweet pair of boys" who enjoy being around people.

Esteban is the more affectionate of the two and spends a lot of time close by when being socialised.

Meanwhile, Carlos is more energetic and is often keen to explore.

With a slow and controlled introduction, Carlos and Esteban could possibly live with another cat.

Gender - Male

Age - Three years old

Breed - Lop

Colour - Grey

If you want to adopt Thor you can view their full profile here.

Thor is an "energetic" rabbit who loves running through his tunnels and gnawing his way through a cardboard forage box.

He can be a little reserved around handling at times, but this is slowly improving.

Thor can be housed either as an indoor or outdoor rabbit, and is hoping to find companionship with a neutered female rabbit.
