One person was injured in a multi-vehicle M27 crash that closed three lanes this morning, police confirmed to the Echo.
A collision involving two vans and a car was reported to officers at 10.46am, resulting in the closure of three out of four lanes heading eastbound between Junction 9 and 10.
One person was left with minor injuries.
National Highways confirmed over two miles of congestion while recovery vehicles attended to clear the scene.

Message signs scattered across the eastbound carriageway warning drivers of congestion.
Just under an hour later at 11.44am, all lanes reopened and traffic was ushered through, though 20 minutes of delays between Whiteley and Fareham remained.
But one lane closed again just over 10 minutes later as a car broke down in the same area between Junction 9 and 10, causing further delays.
The car breaking down was unrelated to the previous crash but a lane had to shut while recovery vehicles attended.
