A new country store is set to open, offering a comprehensive range of equestrian, pet, country, and rural lifestyle products under one roof.

Shedfield Country Stores will open its new flagship store on April 26, offering an expanded retail experience to the community.

The new 650sqm retail destination is the next evolution of a business that has been at the heart of the equestrian and rural community for more than four decades.

The former Shedfield Equestrian Tack Shop, founded by Chris and Sandy Collins, served generations of horse owners and country enthusiasts with expert knowledge and quality products for 46 years.

In 2024, their son Wayne Collins and his partner Aimee Cross, owners of specialist pet business Raw Pet Food Pantry, acquired the business, renaming it Shedfield Country Stores.

Combining the rich legacy of Shedfield Equestrian with the innovative approach and success of Raw Pet Food Pantry was a natural step in their shared vision to grow and diversify their business.

Aimee said: "We are incredibly proud to carry forward the legacy started by Wayne’s parents while expanding the business into an exciting new era.

"Shedfield Country Stores is more than just a shop—it’s a destination where our customers can find everything they need for their country lifestyle, all while receiving expert advice and friendly service, and bringing our specialist pet business in under the same roof enables us to further improve our offering to our existing customer base, too."

Customers can expect a specialist pet department, Raw Pet Food Pantry, as well as Bark ‘n’ Brush dog groomers, premium equestrian feed and supplies, stylish country clothing and footwear, and a newly introduced gift department featuring brands such as Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Brewery and Diddly Squat Farm Shop produce.

A welcoming coffee shop with bakery produce from local supplier, Hoxton Bakery, will also provide the perfect spot for customers to relax and enjoy the store’s unique shopping experience.

"The new store is an exciting evolution, bringing together equestrian, pet, and country living under one roof."
