A trans rights protest is planned for Southampton following a major Supreme Court ruling.
Starting at 10.45am on April 26 at Town Quay Park, the march is a direct response to the recent Supreme Court decision on the Equality Act.
Members of Trans Pride Southampton have said the ruling has caused "distress within the trans community."
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson said: "We protest to assert that trans women are women and for the liberation of all trans people across the UK and the world.
"We call on all local venues, businesses and organisations to continue to allow trans people to use their services without misgendering or being forced to use the restrooms etc of the gender assigned at birth.
"This is a peaceful protest."

The march will proceed through High Street and Above Bar Street, ending at Watts Park.
At the protest there will be speakers from local LGBTQ organisations, trade unions, and other local organisations.
Trans Pride Southampton is encouraging participation from groups pledging their support for trans rights.
In a landmark judgment by the Supreme Court last week, trans women are not legally women under the Equality Act.
The group have said the protest is a reaffirmation of the identities of trans men, trans women, and non-binary individuals.
