A New Forest charity sent more than 1,500 chocolate bunnies to help children in Ukraine celebrate Easter.
New Forest for Ukraine, which started in February 2022 after the invasion by Russia and became a charity in June 2024, sent 1,524 chocolate bunnies to children in Ukraine as part of its Easter appeal.
The bunnies were sent to 75 children with educational needs, and the rest were sent to more than 15 schools.
A Ukrainian volunteer distributing the bunnies said: "These little signs have become a ray of joy and hope for every child."
John Allison, head of New Forest for Ukraine, said: "The wonderful people who donated these chocolate bunnies have made all this possible.
"Thanks so much for the smiles you’ve provided."
The charity has sent more than 500 tonnes of aid to Ukraine to identified partner NGOs.
It is staffed entirely by volunteers and gathers donations from the south and across the UK to send to Ukraine via selected transport and distribution partners.
