The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:
CHRISTOPHER CLARKE, 44, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements after he was released from HMP Lewes on April 7 and did not register with police by April 9. He was handed a prison sentence of 30 weeks as he has a “flagrant disregard for court orders”. He has 20 previous breaches on his record.
ANDREW TEMPLAR, 38, of Oxford Street, Weston-Super-Mare, admitted a charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Southampton on January 26. He was banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay a £416 fine. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £166 surcharge.

DARREN HODGKINSON, 33, of Millbrook Road East, Southampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour causing harassment, alarm or distress. He was handed a seven-day prison sentence and must pay a fine of £350.
STEVIE MADDOCKS, 30, of Pavely Gardens, Trowbridge, admitted two charges of theft after she stole multiple Sol De Janeiro beauty products worth £1202 from John Lewis, and additional Sol De Janeiro beauty products of an unknown value from John Lewis, both on May 7, 2024. She was fined £120 and must pay a surcharge of £48.
BARRY ROBERTS, 48, of Cresswell Road, Newbury, pleaded guilty to a charge of cannabis possession after he was caught with the Class B drug in Southampton on January 17. He was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and a forfeiture and destruction order for the drugs was made. He must pay £111 and a £26 surcharge.
