A new city centre green space has been opened to the public, five months after being officially unveiled.
Arundel Gardens was ushered in by councillors when they simultaneously opened the "piece of legacy" Albion Place bus hub on December 13, 2024.
But at the time, the grass laid in the green space named by Daily Echo readers had not yet fully set and the area was fenced off.
After a run of good weather, the fences have been removed and Arundel Gardens has now been fully opened to the public.

Some 2000 individual plants and nine new trees were planted to make up the garden built as part of the new bus hub.
The Albion Place hub aimed to improve bus reliability in the centre of Southampton and brought the medieval walls into the forefront.
Lights were also added to increase visibility of the walls during the night and the old car park was paved over to create the new area.
