Residents are invited to help shape celebrations for Ringwood's 800-year market charter anniversary.
The town's charter, granted in 1226 by King Henry III, established the right to hold a weekly market, a tradition that continues today.
Ringwood Town Council is planning commemorative events for 2026 and is seeking public input to ensure the festivities reflect the community's spirit.
A spokesman for the council said: "This milestone offers a unique opportunity to celebrate Ringwood’s rich history and its enduring role as a vibrant market town.

A public drop-in session will take place at Ringwood Gateway on Wednesday, April 23 from 10am to 6.45pm.
Residents can also submit suggestions through an online survey on the town council’s website.
