Plans have been submitted for two retirement bungalows in Hedge End.
The bungalows, intended for over-55s, would be part of the Willow Mead retirement complex.
A previous proposal for four flats was rejected due to concerns about the development's impact on neighbours, inadequate amenity space information, potential tree shading, and noise from a nearby main road.
After discussions with Eastleigh Borough Council, a revised plan was submitted for two bungalows.

The council did not object to more residential development in principle but raised concerns about the site's built-up area, the complex design, and the proximity of parking spaces to one of the bungalows.
Willow Mead currently provides residential accommodation for the elderly, with 35 flats and shared amenities.
The new bungalows would be built on unused land between the main Willow Mead development and Wildern Lane.
