A seaside town in North Wales has been named among the best in the UK to move to in 2025.

From Portpatrick up in Scotland to Brighton in Southern England, the Daily Mail, with the help of My Baggage, has come up with a list of the best seaside towns to move to in 2025.

The list is based on a range of factors including:

  • House prices
  • Salary
  • Sunlight hours
  • Rainfall

Introducing the list, the Daily Mail said: "Fresh, clean air, picturesque views and improved mental well-being - it's no surprise why so many Brits are turning to the tranquil allure of the UK's coastal towns. 

"But which seaside town is considered the very best for the ultimate stress-free existence?"

Margate topped the list with a 'relocation score' of 98.83, followed closely by Whitby (97.6) and Whitstable (90.53).

Why Llandudno is among the best seaside towns to move to in 2025

Llandudno was one of two Welsh seaside towns, along with Fishguard, to feature on the Daily Mail's list.

It ranked fourth in the country behind only Margate, Whitby and Whitstable with a 'relocation score' of 88.1.
