A DIVERSION route has been put in place while the A303 remains closed following a serious crash.
Emergency services were called at 11.02pm on Monday, April 14 to an incident in Mere on the A303.
The road remains closed on April 15, expected to be in effect for several hours the AA has reported, while investigations are underway.

To avoid the closure, westbound traffic is being diverted by road signs.

Join the A303 eastbound.

At Ivy Cross Roundabout, take the exit on to the A350 and continue for approximately seven miles.

Exit the A303 onto the B3081 and continue for approximately 8 miles towards Shaftesbury.
National Highways is urging drivers to plan ahead if they are affected by the road closure.
