HYUNDAI will move into a vacant unit following the closing of a Land Rover showroom suddenly in March.

Hyundai has applied to add illuminated logos to the edge of the former Hendy Land Rover showroom which closed suddenly in March 2025, as it plans to open a branch in Old Sarum.

Speaking of the Land Rover closure, a JLR spokesperson said: “While Hendy Land Rover Salisbury no longer operates a new car sales function, it remains fully committed to providing aftersales support for existing clients, and will introduce a personalised vehicle collection and delivery service from next month making servicing, MOT tests and repair works as convenient as possible for clients.

"Hendy Land Rover Salisbury remains dedicated to providing the highest standards of aftersales care.”

Their usual showroom facilities, including a barista bar, Wi-Fi, a selection of new and used Range Rovers, Defenders and Discovery vehicles continue to be offered at other branches.

However, it appears Hyundai are now taking on the premises, also led by Hendy.

Hyundai already has a Salisbury showroom on Wilton Road, and Hendy has been contacted for information on the future of this site.
