Wildern Lane in Hedge End is set to be hit with a long bout of Hampshire County Council road works next month which are likely to cause drivers long delays.
Those living in the Hedge End area will know that Wildern Lane often becomes congested during school pick up and drop off time as the road is home to a large primary and secondary school.

Highway crews from Hampshire County Council will be undertaking ‘surface treatment’ on the road from Upper Northam Road to Charles Watts Way.
These works are planned for May 23 to June 6 and footways will be unaffected during these works.
A diversion route has been put in place by the council which directs drivers to Grange Road, through the Maypole Roundabout and up Lower Northam Road.
