The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

DAVID MALCOLM, 33, of Bitterne Road West, Southampton, pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing controlled Class B drug in Westminster, London, on January 6 2025. Handed 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs, plus £26 victim services surcharge.

MARTIN MCANULTY, 25, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing two bottles of vodka together valued at £48 from Sainsbury's at High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire on November 8 2024. Fined £80 with £85 costs. Also told to pay £48 compensation.

STANLEY LOWE, 27, of Above Bar Street, Southampton, pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing chocolate from Co-op in Commercial Road, Southampton, on April 4 2026. Handed community order and exclusion order banning him from entering store until April 4 2026. Also told to pay £85 costs.

DENNIS COX, 60, of Queensway, Southampton, pleaded guilty to possessing folding pocket knife at North Terminal, Gatwick Airport, on December 11 2024. Remanded on conditional bail until June 3 2025.

JAMES ADAMS, 29, of Rosemount Court, West End, pleaded guilty to drug driving at Lawn Road, Southampton, on October 25 2024. Banned from driving for 14 months, fined £120 with £85 costs and £48 victim services surcharge.

LISA STRIDE, 47, of Ferndene Way, Southampton, pleaded guilty to drink driving at Burgess Road, Southampton, on January 18 2025. Banned from driving for 25 months, community order, including requirement to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, £85 costs, £114 victim services surcharge.

MICHAEL WAKEFIELD, 51, of Douglas Way, Hythe, pleaded guilty to drink driving at Maynard Road, Totton, on January 21 2025. Remanded on unconditional bail until June 10 2025. Handed interim driving ban.

DARREN BROWN, 53, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to breaching restraining order imposed on March 28 2025 by entering Charcoal Grill on March 28 2025.
