THE streets of Southampton filled with colour on Sunday as the Sikh community came out in force to celebrate Vaisakhi.
The city centre was bustling with activity on Sunday afternoon as thousands of people took part in the celebrations.

Vaisakhi is a very significant festival and marks the start of the harvest season and the beginning of the solar New Year.
