ANOTHER technical problem on a Red Funnel ferry has led to cancellations.
Several services have been cancelled in both directions.
The 8am vehicle ferry service from Southampton to East Cowes, and the 9.30am, from East Cowes to Southampton, were cancelled this morning (Saturday).
Meanwhile, the Red Eagle services from Southampton at 11am and 2pm, and from East Cowes at 12.30pm and 3.30pm, have also been cancelled.
The cross-Solent ferry company said the Red Eagle has been taken out of service, "due to a technical issue with the cooling pump".
"Teams are working hard to resolve the issue."
The disruption to ferry travel has been a continuous theme.
On the first day of the school Easter holidays, there were cancellations all day, with Red Funnel blaming an ongoing technical issue for a third day of disruption to its Red Eagle vehicle ferry.
There were also disruptions to the service throughout last weekend.
"We apologise for any inconvenience to your journey."
