The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:
SALLY DWYER, 47, of Pat Bear Close, Southampton, pleaded guilty to two charges of theft after she stole items worth £67.95 from Asda in Totton on October 2, 2024, and items worth £84.65 from the same store on October 3, 2024. She was ordered to pay £67.95 compensation and a fine of £80. She must also pay prosecution costs of £45 and a £32 surcharge.

ANDREW TRILL, 55, of Lower Bartons, Fordingbridge, pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary after he entered as a trespasser into a property in Bickerley Road, Ringwood, and stole garden shears, a photo, plyers and two cushions on June 30, 2021. He was fined £200 and must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a surcharge of £80.
JAY CLEAL, 22, of Roberts Road, Totton, admitted a charge of possession of a knife after he was caught with a lock knife in Rumbridge Street, Southampton, on August 11, 2024. He will appear before the same court on April 22.
EDWARD SIMMONDS, 42, of Beresford Road, Chandler’s Ford, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving without insurance in Oakmount Road, Chandler’s Ford on January 26, 2024. He was banned from driving for six months and given six points on his licence. He must pay a £459 fine, prosecution costs of £85 and a surcharge of £184.
MICHAEL DAVEY, 49, of Southampton Road, Totton, admitted a charge of breaching a non-molestation order, imposed by Southampton Family Court in 2021, in Bishopstoke on December 6, 2021. He was fined £266 and must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £34 surcharge.
