Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary have pledged to deliver "exceptional and more trusted local policing."
The joint statement from acting chief constable Sam de Reya and police and crime commissioner Donna Jones comes in response to the government's neighbourhood policing guarantee.
Ms de Reya said: "We welcome the national focus on delivering exceptional and more trusted local policing, alongside reducing anti-social behaviour, as outlined in the latest announcement on the government's neighbourhood policing guarantee."
She highlighted the force's efforts over the past two years, including a restructure to bring officers closer to communities and the introduction of the Local Bobbies scheme in January 2024.
This initiative provides contactable, named officers for each beat area.
Ms Jones said: "Having named and contactable police officers for every community works.
"Patrols have increased in rural areas and in town centres, and there has been a significant reduction in crime over the last 12 months."
