Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced a new flight route from Bournemouth Airport for next summer.

The airline and tour operator will be providing flights to a new destination in the Channel Islands from Friday, July 25 to Saturday, September 29, 2026.

The new route to Jersey will run twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

This new addition brings Jet2.com and Jet2holidays' total number of routes from Bournemouth Airport to 22, including six new routes.

To support the expanded summer programme, the airline has invested in Bournemouth Airport by adding an extra aircraft to its fleet.

The UK’s largest tour operator, Jet2holidays, will also be offering package holidays with a range of three to five-star accommodations.

The island is described as having "aquamarine waters and vast stretches of white sand beaches" and is said to be ideal for those looking to pursue a range of outdoor activities such as hiking, surfing, kayaking and diving.
