The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

SCOTT DAVIS, 41, of Silverwood Road, Eastleigh, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving without insurance, two charges of drug driving, and a charge of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. He also admitted a charge of cannabis possession after he was caught with the Class B drug on February 28, 2022, at the A34 Pear Tree Services in Oxford. He was banned from driving for three years and ordered to pay a £375 fine. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £300 surcharge. A forfeiture and destruction order was also made for the five grams of cannabis.

MALCOLM LE MAY, 67, of Church Street, Upham, admitted a charge of using a mobile phone while driving his Land Rover on Winnall Roundabout in Winchester on December 30, 2023. He was banned from driving for six months and given six points on his licence. He must also pay a £115, prosecution costs of £110, and a £46 surcharge.

HOLLY CHAMBERLAIN, 36, of Burns Road, Eastleigh, pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to comply with a lane closure sign, and she also admitted a charge of speeding after she was caught driving at 48mph while a 40mph speed limit was in force. Both incidents occurred on the M27 eastbound between junctions five and seven on October 14, 2023. She was fined £40 and was given three points on her licence. She must pay prosecution costs of £55 and a surcharge of £16.

DAVID TRUNDLEY, 48, of Tristan Close, Calshot, admitted a charge of speeding after he was caught driving at 89mph on the M27 westbound between junctions eight and seven, where a 70mph speed limit was in force, on October 25, 2022. He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay a £226 fine. He must also pay £110 prosecution costs and a £90 surcharge.
