A mum who died the day before Mother's Day has been named as an inquest into her death opened.
Nikki Bond, of Northam Road, died on Saturday, March 29, at her home address, a coroner's court heard.
Flowers and moving tributes were left by her front door paying tribute to the 42-year-old.
Area coroner Rosamund Rhodes-Kemp opened the inquest into her death at Winchester Coroners' Court on Wednesday.
Mrs Rhodes-Kemp said that Ms Bond was found unresponsive at her home, with CPR being started but Ms Bond was declared dead.
Her preliminary cause of death has been given as hanging, the inquest opening was told.

The inquest has been adjourned to take place in full on February 24, 2026, with Mrs Rhodes-Kemp offering her condolences to Ms Bond's family, who were not present.
As previously reported, a number of bouquets, pictures and messages were placed outside the doorstep of a property on Northam Road.
Photos of Mrs Bond with her children and loved ones line the path to the door, along with a Teddy bear, candle, and Mother's Day cards.
One tribute read: "Promise to look after your boy".
Another handwritten note said: "To Mum, I love you so much. I am going to miss you so, so much."
