There's lots of trails and more Easter family fun to be had this weekend.
Here's our pick of five of the best things to do to keep young and old entertained this Saturday and Sunday (April 12 and 13).
At Marwell Zoo...
(Image: Marwell Zoo) Marwell Zoo is inviting guests on an exciting journey Around the World in 80 Species this Easter holiday.
This weekend and beyond, families can travel the world without leaving Hampshire, discovering animals from across the continents, engaging storytelling experiences, and live entertainment along the way.
Pick up your very own Marwell Explorer Passport and set off on an exciting adventure trail, collecting animal rubbings along the way to earn a limited-edition Explorer badge as a reward for completing the expedition.
Along the way, guests will have the chance to meet adventure storytellers as they bring to life the tales of the scimitar-horned oryx, white-clawed crayfish and snow leopards, plus learn how Marwell is helping these special species.
Marwell’s expert animal keepers will also be on hand to share fascinating facts about the animals they care for, and visitors can check the Marwell Zoo app for daily feed times.
At St Mary's Stadium...
(Image: Stuart Martin) See interim bosses Simon Rusk and Adam Lallana's first game in charge on Saturday at 3pm when Saints take on Aston Villa.
You never know, we might see a post relegation bounce from the team who saw their place in the Championship confirmed with a defeat at the Tottenham Stadium on Sunday.
With seven matches to go in the season, the team are in with a chance of avoiding the unwanted record of being the worst ever Premier League team.
They need two more points to beat Derby County's points total.
At God's House Tower...
(Image: Supplied) A new exhibition exploring the last 200 million years of history in the south has opened in Southampton.
The University of Southampton's Hidden in Stone exhibition tells the story of the south of England from the Jurassic period through to early humans.
It does this using fossils, artefacts, life-size models, replicas, and life reconstructions.
The exhibition, at God's House Tower, will run for eight weeks.
It is free for the public to visit.
Around Southampton...
(Image: Supplied) Visitors to Southampton can enjoy a free family Easter trail, which is continuing this weekend.
Participants in the Go! Southampton trail will need to collect a trail map and follow the clues to find the Easter Bunny's missing gardening tools.
The missing tools will be displayed in shop, bar, and venue windows around the Cultural Quarter and Commercial Road.
Each stop will have a poster featuring one of the missing items.
An Easter prize awaits those who solve the mystery at the final stop, SeaCity Museum, and a chance to win a £100 Mayflower Theatre gift voucher.
At Mottisfont...
(Image: National Trust Images) Expect a delightful mix of traditional and whimsical funfair games, perfect for the whole family, from this weekend until Easter Monday.
Test your skills with classic favourites like coconut shy and target practice, or dive into ‘Hook a Duck’. Our version of ‘Wacky Races’ with its blend of sack racing and egg-and-spoon, and the ‘Clowning Around’ challenge will have everyone laughing.
There’s loads of space for running and playing at Mottisfont where huge lawns and majestic plane trees frame this welcoming 18th Century house. The lawns are littered with daffodils, the little orchard is filled with scented white cherry blossom, and jewel-coloured tulips pop from the borders.
