A much-loved pub and nightclub in Southampton is looking to extend its opening hours ahead of the summer season.
Peter Green, who has owned Jesters in Bevois Valley since 1987, has submitted a request to remove outdated conditions on the club's license.
If approved, the new conditions will see the club be allowed to serve alcohol and play live or recorded music from 10am to 3am each day.
The infamous nightclub has been loved by a whole host of the city's student population, including BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Stark.

While co-hosting The Peter Crouch Podcast in April 2023, Chris called the club a "legendary place", noting that he had also performed there while studying at the University of Southampton.
After news that current owner Peter had put the club on the market in 2018, university student Tom McLean launched a campaign to turn Jesters into a "world heritage centre".
Some 2,113 people ended up signing Tom's petition, which would have seen the building be turned into a protected landmark with the same status as the Great Wall of China or Stone Henge.
Tom told the Echo at the time: “I believe it is eligible for world heritage status as it is a historically unique building which signifies a remarkable accomplishment of humanity and serves as evidence of our intellectual history on the planet."
