Firefighters have returned to the scene of a devastating blaze that ripped through a marsh.
A field near the sea erupted into flames last night, with five ire crews racing to Calshot to tackle the fire.
The blaze was extinguished at around 10pm on Friday night and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Rescue Service confirmed they would be "scaling down our presence at the incident to one crew."
This morning, firefighters from Hardley returned to the scene.
"Crews returned and carried out a reinspection of the site to check for any hotspots", a spokesperson for the fire service said.
"The stop message came in at 9.47am."

It is estimated that the fire affected an area of 600m x 200m.
The blaze was seen from as far as the Isle of Wight with people watching the incident unfold on webcams in Cowes, and at Netley Cliff Sailing Club.
One eyewitness, who asked not to be named, said the field went up "like a tinderbox".
The cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed.
