The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

DALE EVANS, 40, of Luck Road, Bursledon, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault by beating, and a charge of criminal damage after he damaged a Hyundai i10 worth £3,600, belonging to the same victim, on May 18, 2024 in Southampton. He will appear before the same court on October 1, 2025.

DARREN YOUNG, 55, of Salerno Road, Southampton, admitted three charges of drug driving after he was caught on St James Road, Southampton on September 17, 2024, with Tetrahdrocannabinol, Benzoylecgonine, and cocaine in his blood. He is now subject to a one-year community order and must complete 12 days of rehabilitation activity requirements. He was banned from driving for three years and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.  He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £114 surcharge.

KELLY SPENCER, 40, of Southampton Road, Lymington, pleaded guilty to a charge of drink driving after she was caught driving a Mini Cooper on Hinton Wood Lane in Hinton Admiral on October 23, 2024 with 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. She was handed a 36 month driving ban and a 16-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months. The court heard she was involved in a minor collision and this was her second drink drive in a short time period, but that it was suspended because of her traumatic background, a recent bereavement, medical issues and she has taken steps to address the issues. She must complete a year-long alcohol treatment plan 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirements. She must pay £85 prosecution costs and a £154 surcharge.

JACK GILLETT-BAILEY, 26, of Broad Street, Alresford, admitted a charge of theft from the person of another after he stole £5,384.57 from a woman in Southampton on January 2, 2023. He will appear before the same court on April 23.
