Plans have been approved for a housing development in Hedge End.
The application proposes eight two-storey homes on land at Home Farm, St John's Road.
The housing mix includes two two-bedroom homes, four three-bedroom homes, and two four-bedroom homes.
The site, located on the southwest edge of Hedge End near the M27, covers 0.45 hectares and features significant changes in level.

Access is shared with a previous development of 14 homes and a light industrial unit.
The homes are designed to be flexible and adaptable, meeting building regulation standards and exceeding the council's policy.
The development also includes integral and attached or linked garages and carports.
The homes will be built on a level plateau, which was identified as the most suitable area for development following early studies.
The proposal was made by Wessex Planning Ltd on behalf of Wykeham Homes Ltd.
