The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:
CONNOR LIDDAN, 19, of Roundhill Close, Southampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of cannabis after he was caught with the Class B drug on December 24, 2024, in Ferndown. He will appear before the same court on April 3.
HELEN LEAHY, 38, of no fixed abode, admitted two charges of theft after she was caught stealing 14 skin and beauty products worth £391.20 from Boots in Portswood on October 17, 2024, and chocolate and yum yums worth £75 from Sainsbury’s in Bedford Place, Southampton on November 14, 2024. She will appear before the same court on June 27.
JUSTYN PENFOLD, 36, of Aldermoor Avenue, Southampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment after he harassed a woman between November 12, 2024 and March 22, 2025 by sending her unwanted text messages and made numerous phone calls. He will appear before the same court on April 11.

PAUL SIMMONDS, 53, of Portswood Road, Southampton, admitted two charges of theft after he stole two Vintage Coder worth £5.20 from Sainsbury’s on December 8, 2024, and four slow beef roasts, two vintage ciders, and one BBQ pizza from £79.16 from Sainsbury’s in Portswood on December 31, 2024. He was ordered to pay a fine of £140 and £5.20 compensation. He must also pay £85 prosecution costs and a £56 surcharge.
RONKIY DIGWA, 38, of Fawley Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of drug driving after he was caught on King George’s Avenue with Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol – a cannabinoid found in cannabis – in his system on September 18, 2024. He was banned from driving for 38 months and handed a £120 fine. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85.
