A Southampton mum is being celebrated this Mother's Day for her support of the British Heart Foundation.

Danielle Crook's sons, Lennox, six, and Sonny, four, were both born with serious congenital heart conditions and underwent open heart surgery soon after being born.

Danielle said: "When I look at Lennox and Sonny, I just feel so emotional and full of pride in how they've dealt with everything.

"We try not to hold them back because of their heart conditions."

Maryam Ghani of Haute Florist said: "Danielle and her family have supported the BHF’s work through various campaigns, and it’s so appreciated.

"We were only too pleased to send Danielle some flowers as a small gesture of thanks for the awareness she and her family have and continue to raise for BHF."

Lennox and Sonny, nicknamed ‘The Heart Brothers’ by Danielle and husband Joe, were awarded the BHF Young Heart Hero award last year.
