Ryanair has announced three new routes from Bournemouth Airport for summer 2025.
The routes will go to Chania, Fuerteventura and Rhodes, taking the total number of destinations from Bournemouth to 21.
Extra flights will also be laid on for 14 of the most popular routes, including Faro, Lanzarote and Palma de Mallorca.
This will be made possible by the two Bournemouth-based aircraft which represent a local investment of $200 million.
Chania City Sea (Image: Pixabay) Jade Kirwan, Ryanair's head of communications, said: "Ryanair is pleased to announce our summer 2025 schedule for Bournemouth, with 21 routes including three new routes to Chania, Fuerteventura and Rhodes, as well as extra frequencies on 14 other popular routes to key holiday destinations like Faro, Lanzarote and Palma de Mallorca, giving our UK customers even more choice at the lowest fares this summer."
She also criticised the new £2 increase in APD taxes on short-haul flights by the Labour government which will come into force from 2026.
She said: "Ryanair could be growing more rapidly to and from the UK, but Rachel Reeves' bizarre decision to raise APD taxes by £2 per passenger damages these growth prospects and in particular regional UK airports."
