Drivers are being warned as a major road near Bursledon is set to hit by road works that could cause delays.
Motorists are being warned as Dodwell Lane is set to be closed for more than a day.
The road, between the A27 and the Windhover Interchange, is set to be inaccessible to drivers between 9pm on Monday, April 14, and 6am on Wednesday, March 16.
This is while National Highways workers undertake construction work.
The stretch of closed road includes the bridge over the M27.

Local drivers will know that the road can become severely congested during the rush hour as the road is used as a link between Hedge End and Swanick, without the need to travel on the A27, Windhover Roundabout.
A diversion route has been put in place that take motorists over the Windhover Roundabout.
