Police are searching for a man who is alleged to have brandished a knife and threatened staff at shops in Southampton
A man entered the One Stop store on Park Road at about 8.40pm on Wednesday, March 19, and allegedly made threats with what was believed to be a knife.
Later that evening, at about 10.20pm, a man reportedly entered the Hops & Grapes store on Shirley Road and allegedly threatened staff, suggesting he had a knife with him.
No items were taken, and no one was injured in either incident.
Police have released images of a man seen in the area at the time who they want to speak to in connection with their enquiries.

The man is described as white, about 6ft tall, and aged between 30 and 35.
He was wearing a black raincoat with the hood up, a dark Under Armour cap, black Under Armour tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe, and black Nike trainers with a white tick.
He was also carrying a Sports Direct bag for life.
A spokesperson said: "Anyone who recognises this man or has information that could help the investigation is urged to call 101, quoting reference 44250121270."
