An award-winning theatre maker who has raised more than £100,000 for children's charities with his shows will be coming to Eastleigh.
Shôn Dale-Jones will be touring The Point, in Eastleigh, on April 4 with his show The Duke.
The Fringe First Award-winning production, along with Me & Robin Hood, has raised more than £100,000 for charities that support child refugees and street children.
Mr Dale-Jones has been creating theatre for more than 20 years.
He said: "Every show I make is made for a particular reason.
"I made The Duke in 2016 because I wanted to find a way of doing something practical about ‘the refugee crisis’.
"I’m not a doctor or an engineer - I’m a writer/performer, and so I decided I could write a show which connects us to the crisis and raise money to support Save The Children’s refugee and crisis work."
The Duke, originally created in 2016 in response to the Syrian conflict, is being rewritten and revived in 2024 as the refugee crisis becomes more extreme following additional worldwide conflicts and disasters.
The performance at The Point, Eastleigh begins at 7.30pm and tickets are available from the Box Office or The Point Eastleigh's website.
