A catering van will be allowed to stay in a pub car park after retrospective planning permission was approved.
Matthew Jennings of Only Foods and Sauces has been serving hot food in the car park of The Bittern pub on Thornhill Park Road since January 6.
The food van is positioned next door to a Morrisons Daily shop and Esso petrol station.
Mr Jennings applied for planning permission to propose the change of use of part of the pub's car park to accommodate a catering unit for sale of hot food.

The van will be able to stay on its current pitch after approval of plans, with the council planning officers believing the food truck is "not considered to cause significant harm to the amenity of neighbouring residents or to the character of the local area".
Only Foods and Sauces is known for its heart-stopping "Gutbuster" breakfast, which comes with jumbo sausage, a burger, two bits of bacon, two eggs, a hash brown, mushrooms, black pudding and drink for £8.
The food van also caters for parties, according to its Facebook page.
