The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

PAUL CHIVERS, 31, of Cawte Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to stealing, jointly with another, goods valued at £261.46 from One Beyond in Portsmouth on October 2 2024. One-year conditional discharge. Also told to pay £85 costs, £26 victim services surcharge, and £130.73 compensation.

STEVEN RALPH, 41, of Neva Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to stealing four bottles of vodka valued at £72 from Waitrose in Southampton on February 18 2025. Told to pay £72 compensation. Also pleaded guilty to stealing two bottles of vodka valued at £80 from Sainsbury's on March 12 2025. Told to pay £80 compensation. Also pleaded guilty to stealing three water filters valued at £84 from Sainsbury's on March 13 2025. Fined £80 with £85 costs.

GEORGE CHESTERMAN, 29, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to assault in Southampton on March 13 2025. Remanded in custody until April 4 2025.

HADLEIGH FARMER, 28, of Greenlea Crescent, Southampton, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating. Handed 14-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months. Told to pay £85 costs and £154 victim services surcharge. Also pleaded guilty to criminal damage. No separate penalty.

JESSICA JENNINGS, 31, of Shirley Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to stealing goods valued at £41.45 from Co-op in Totton on September 16 2024. Also pleaded guilty to stealing men's cosmetics valued at £1,034.68 from Boots in Southampton on November 26 2024. Remanded on conditional bail until May 9 2025.

MARCUS BAILEY, 52, of Fairbairn Walk, Chandler's Ford, pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance at Highfield Lane, Southampton, on June 5 2023. Fined £246 with £100 costs and £98 victim services surcharge. Driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

JORDAN COX, 28, of Weatherby Gardens, Totton, pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour in Southampton on November 17 2024. Also pleaded guilty to criminal damage. Remanded on conditional bail until May 13 2025.
