A man, allegedly seen carrying two knives near a school in Southampton, has been arrested.
Police say that they received reports that a man was walking on Malmesbury Road carrying the knives.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested and is in police custody.

The nearby St Mark’s C of E School went into lockdown during this incident, which saw pupils and parents locked inside the school whilst a tannoy repeated "lockdown".
The lockdown has since been lifted.
No injuries have been reported.
This comes as a woman reported seeing a man walking down Malmesbury Road with his dog "waving around" two knives, before being arrested outside the school.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: "We received a number of reports at around 3pm on Monday, March 24 that a man carrying two knives had been seen walking in Malmesbury Road, Southampton.
"Officers attended and arrested a 44-year-old man, who is currently in police custody.
"We have no reports of injuries in relation to this incident."
