Hampshire police have threatened to use “all tactics available” to find the most wanted people in the region.

The Crimestoppers Most Wanted campaign, which launched in Southampton on Monday, focuses on 28 men and women across the county who have dodged court and remain at large.

Their faces will be shown on digital advertising vans across the region, as police and Crimestoppers look to find these missing suspects.

Over the next three days, Crimestoppers will be visiting places across Hampshire, displaying both the names and faces of the most wanted individuals for communities to see.

“These are individuals that have been charged with a variety of offences,” Assistant Chief Constable Paul Bartolomeo told the Echo.

“We’re going to use all tactics available at our disposal to locate these individuals.”

All have warrants for their re-arrest, which do not expire.

“Most Wanted has been running since 2005 and we’ve had over 5000 arrests through the platform since then,” said Annabelle Goodenough, South East regional manager for Crimestoppers.

“I’m convinced that these people are still in the local area and I’m convinced members of the public may know where they are.

“We want to do everything we can to keep the community as safe as possible which includes taking those criminals off the street.”
