A major road in Southampton is set to be hit by roadworks this week that could cause delays for motorists.
Overnight closures on Portswood Road near the junction of Mayfield Road will allow council crews to undertake carriageway resurfacing.
The closures will be in place on Portswood Road from Wednesday, March 26, to Friday, March 28.

The closure has been kept between 8pm and 6am in order to minimise the impact on drivers, the council has said.
A diversion route has been put in place which takes drivers onto Thomas Lewis Way, turning onto the A35 and continuing on High Road – meeting back up with Portswood Road.
The road has been at the centre of much controversy in recent weeks after Southampton City Council launched its bus gate trial.
Protesters turned out on Saturday calling for the trial to be ended.
