A Southampton care home has been nominated for a national award.

Templeton Place Care Home, in Hurst Way, Nursling, has been shortlisted in the Care Home Awards 2025.

The care home, which opened in 2024, is nominated in the Best for Interior Design category.

The awards celebrate innovation and excellence in care business management, operations, and service delivery.

Home manager Kay Mitchell said: "It’s incredible and it is a huge credit to our team as well as to our lovely community.

"We pride ourselves on being able to offer expert care in a friendly and beautiful environment.

"We could not be prouder of our incredible teams.

"Their dedication and commitment ensure our residents receive the outstanding care they deserve."

Templeton Place offers residential and nursing care, as well as respite and short-term care.

Templeton Place is part of the Hamberley Care Home Group, which has also been shortlisted in the categories of Outstanding Smaller Group Care Provider, Best for Nutrition, Food & Dining, and Best for Wellbeing.
