A man accused of seriously injuring a teenage boy has appeared in court.
Joel Armstrong, 43, is charged with wounding with intent following an assault at Southampton Airport Parkway train station last year.
Officers swooped to the Eastleigh station on August 28, 2024, and a large police presence remained at the scene.
A 17-year-old boy was found injured and taken to hospital by paramedics.
His injuries were not deemed life-changing or life-threatening.
Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) urged any witnesses or those with information to come forward in light of the serious attack.

After appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Friday, the case was sent to Southampton Crown Court.
Armstrong will next appear before the court on April 17.
