The spirit of community burst forth on the morning of November 25, 1989, as the New Milton carnival began with a dazzling display.
A lengthy convoy, boasting no fewer than 26 vehicles, each a unique explosion of colour and a source of cheerful noise, gracefully wound its way through the streets of the New Forest.
These weren’t just any vehicles, they were imaginative floats, carefully crafted and brimming with enthusiastic fundraisers eager to support their local causes.

Despite the biting chill in the air, the atmosphere was anything but cold.
This carefully planned journey took the spirited participants through the picturesque villages of Lymington, Brockenhurst, Christchurch, and Ringwood, spreading joy and raising awareness along the way.
